In this puzzle there are two M shapes made of steel. They are exactly similar and made from a square cross section of steel. How to interlock them? There is only one way. Align the open square sections of both Ms and slide them in. Once the two sections are interlocked it would appear very difficult to remove them. No matter how hard you try you will find it very difficult to separate them. The only way to separate them is to once again align their open ends and slide them apart. This may look a little difficult but will come easily after a little practice. You must repeatedly put the M sections in and take them apart to get a good feel for the puzzle.
The procedure for putting them together is shown once again. This work was supported by IUCAA and Tata Trust.
