Nihal Sarin is stronger in positional chess than Magnus Carlsen – Dimitri Komarov

Dmitri Komarov is a very versatile personality – he was a strong chess player, a very competent coach and an energetic and lively commentator. He is in Mumbai for the World Youth Championships 2019 as the coach of UAE girls’ team. We decided to interview him and ask him about how he managed to change the chess scene in Sri Lanka, his work with Nihal Sarin and his stint as a commentator at the World Rapid and Blitz 2014.

Komarov also presents a very interesting opinion about Nihal Sarin in the interview – he is stronger than Magnus Carlsen at positional chess!

If you would like to get in touch with Komarov you can write to him at [email protected]
